For page one champions, there are two ways that you will look at this. Firstly – YES -you will always include the champion in your PAB because this indicates the product and price that the customers’ MOST want. However, for your daily sales goal, you may decide to focus your sights on challenging the #2 seller, if there is enough volume for you to steal from. You will decide what you think you can achieve and as a guide, we suggest that you can attain about 40% of the number one, but you pull this down if you want to chase the number two.
If you target the #2 seller, your goal will be to be the #3 but to hot on the heels of #2. So with this in mind, you will need to decide if there is enough volume for you as a 3rd top competitor.
